Futher to my previous comments on this site I noted the PowaBykes.
These are electric pedal bikes that according the Felicity (a fellow Architecture student) is the direction the Car dealers want to move into. However regardless of electric bikes it gave me the idea for a bike shop/rental service but with a modern twist – self service, just as you get food from a vending machine so to can you get bikes. Along with this you could also get maps/cycling permit for cycling along the Canal. This usage could be combined with my design idea for the use of light – however my bike knowledge is limited….
I visited all the site options as of Friday, I went around with the idea of “Capture -> Contain -> Release” using light as explored in the Installation project. Below are images from each site and my thoughts on them.

Site 7 – Lindsey Street/Hayne Street
Its exciting to have the train track so close, however the site didn’t inspire me and I couldn’t see my ideas working and I didn’t have a clear idea in my head on where the site started and ended.
